As I’m sitting here looking at my never ending to-do list, and I can’t help but wonder how another year has come and almost gone.
A full twelve months. Where did they go? I remember sitting in this same exact spot one year ago furiously planning out all the touches that would go into the opening of Harper & Sky, thinking that kindergarten for Cooper seemed so far away. So much has changed in one year that I can hardly believe it.
A loss of a job and friendships. Gaining a dream career, and along the way finding a new tribe. Reaching down to find the confidence and the voice I always knew I had; just maybe a little timid about sharing in the past.
Kindergarten and baseball, a six year old turned master reader. Another new business venture on the brink of opening.
Twelve months. And the most incredible thing of all, is that in everything that managed to occur over the span of these past twelve months, I still – under no circumstances, was able to pull myself together and actually send Christmas Cards this year.
So.. I say to you, here’s to next year. May the next twelve months be as an incredible as these past have been. And, above all, I definitely feel that 2018 will be the year that I finally send out cards again. Cheers, dear friends.
In case you’re in need of some mid-day cuteness! Serious cuteness overload. My dear friend’s handsome little man modeling his first pair of Bird Rock Baby Moccasins! Could he be any cuter?!
