Although some of you may think that I’m still 25 (cough, cough), I’m actually in my thirties. Late thirties, to be exact-ish.

Skin care was never something I put a lot of time or thought into, and I regret that inaction deeply. I was one of those girls who prayed daily to the sun gods and spent the majority of my late teens and early twenties in a tanning bed.
Now that I’m slightly older, and a helluva lot wiser, I take the necessary steps to ensure that not only is my skin healthy, but safe. My skincare routine is something that I take seriously, and when I find a product that I love, I feel it’s my duty to pass it along to all the other women in my life.

Anyone who knows me knows that this grabbed my attention right away.
I feel like as I’ve started to age, my under-eye is what is needing the most attention. I’ve tried desperately to say goodbye to dark circles, wrinkles, and the dreaded bags that show up knocking once one crosses the threshold into motherhood.
It’s like the moment they laid that sweet little boy on my chest, they handed me my permanent set of eye bags. Thanks. Too kind.
So when I was offered the chance to review the VIIcode Eye Mask, I jumped at the chance.
VIIcode Eye Mask
I tried the VIIcode O2M Oxygen Eye Mask twice per week for 3 weeks, and I have absolutely fallen in love not only with this product, but with the results.
A box of the O2M Oxygen Eye Mask contain 6 packets of two eye masks, individually wrapped.
My favorite thing about this mask might be that they’re made up of all natural ingredients, essential vitamins, herbs, and antioxidants. All aimed at keeping your under-eye skin calm, soothed, and looking naturally bright and young.
How to Apply VIIcode Eye Masks
These eye masks are made to be worn for up to 8 hours (best if applied overnight while sleeping).
What I did, was cleanse my face as I normally would, following my normal nighttime routine (makeup removal, facial cleanser, toner).
I did leave out my typical eye creams on nights when I used these masks; otherwise if you apply a cream or moisturizer underneath your eyes, you might have difficulty getting the masks to apply and stay in place.
One area I did have problems with was keeping the masks on for the full 8 hours overnight, to no one’s fault but my own. I tend to move around a lot in the night, and I sleep sometimes with my face pressed up right against my pillow.
Alternative Application Options
An alternative to this is to apply in the morning, or wear during the day for about 2-4 hours instead; which is what I discovered worked best for me.
I would choose my days for application based on when I had photoshoots scheduled, and would wear prior to those events to ensure that my skin looked as bright and fresh (and de-puffed!) as possible.
Additionally (and especially if you’re going to opt for the daytime application vs. overnight wear), you can store these mask packages in your refrigerator before application. I felt in doing so, the masks were able to adhere slightly better to my skin, and the extra-cooling sensation was actually quite enjoyable.
Did I Like VIIcode Eye Masks?
I genuinely liked these masks, and would absolutely recommend them to my fellow gal-pals.
When you put the masks on, they feel ultra soft and squishy, and you get an almost instant cooling sensation (even without refrigeration). They’re super comfortable, and after a few minutes you actually forget you’re wearing anything on your face.
The smell of these is absolutely fantastic. You might look at me quizzically for saying that, but smell is a big factor for me in a lot of things (I’m just sensitive when it comes to odors, especially when it’s something that’s being applied on my face for a certain period of time), and I can honestly say these smell incredible.
Every single time I applied these eye masks, I felt like I was treating myself to a spa-day.
The Results
After each application (including the first), I felt my under-eyes were not only brighter, but my fine lines and most importantly, my puffiness were not as visible. As I continued to use, these characteristics continued to be less and less noticeable.
